It is one of 3000 U.S. marked guns out of 3035 of this variation manufactured (35 were civilian). It is in .45 S&W or Scholfield caliber, a little shorter than the .45 Long Colt. This gun retains between 40% and 60% of its original finish, though I know it's difficult to see in the pictures. It is in very good working condition and has a mirror bright bore. Grips are original to the gun and so numbered. As an antique, no FFL is necessary for transfer. If you are not aware, when you click on an individual picture, there are forward and back arrows in the upper left corner. If you click the icon between the arrows, you will get a great enlargement. We suggest viewing pictures on a full size computer to take advantage of this feature.
