This gun is WWII era and was manufactured by HUSQVARNA. It was shipped to Danish Exile authorities in 1944 (as a group of 2000 pistols). This Danish Police marked gun comes with original holster containing both original magazines and factory screwdriver tool. VERY COLLECTIBLE MATCHING NUMBERS EXAMPLE! 4.5” barrel is very good with signs of wear; light freckling. Bore is bright with minor wear; Strong rifling. Frame and slide are both very good with light overall wear; Right side shows freckling, light pitting near serial number. Right side of frame has Danish Police “Rplt. S 5486” marking. The semi-automatic action on this WWII era pistol is excellent. Original plastic grips are excellent with light overall wear. Gun has “SS” inspector mark for Capt. Sten Stenmo. Gun comes with (2) factory 10rd magazines; One mag is very good; One is fair to good with moderate oxidation wear. Both magazines still function properly. Original black leather holster is very good with light wear; No damage noted. Original tool intact; Missing cleaning rod. “1944 Danish exile authorities had ordered 2000 pistols. These pistols were delivered and marked by inspection officer Cpt Sten Stenmo (SS). These pistol serial numbers range from 67 000 – 69 202 but there are some also in 64 000 – 74 000 range.
