It was manufactured in Chinese Arsenal Factory 26 in 1954 on Russian supplied M44 carbine tooling. This Chinese Carbine was given to Albania by the Chinese Government in the mid to late 1950’s. This was during a time period when Albania broke away from Russia and moved closer to China. Carbines such as these were used in the various Balkan Wars and were carried by Albanian irregular forces. Bore is excellent condition bright/clean, nonmatching numbers,wood is in good condition with normal dings and dents from carry and field use. Rifle has original metal blue. This carbine is an excellent example of a weapon from this time period. Carbine would be an addition to any collection or a good shooter. Import marked.
