Description: This gun was originally built for the Maharajah Of Madhya Pradesh This Indian ruler was affectionately known as "The Pigmy" legend tells us he shot a large white male tiger between the eyes , but lost his life to the tier's mate , who attacked from behind at the same time; the male died . The gun makers at the Holland & Holland extended the stock for the Maharajah's heir(from 13 3/8"-15 1/4" LOP)The gun comes with original leather trunk case and all the accessories , gun 's specs as follow: 24"bbl, ejector, flip-up front sight with extra beads stored in the pistol grip cap quarter rib with 1-standing,2-folding rear sight ,splinter forend case-colored remain on the action is about 35%,double trigger with front serrated & articulated , extended top & bottom tang , cheek-piece stock with swivels and wrapped leather pad, bluing on the gun is 98%+condition of the wood is 98% except the part of the stock added a piece of extendtion as stated in the beginning of the ad, overall condition of the gun is 97%+ and the gun is tight and near mint to it's age.
