It has a magnum receiver & barrel and will chamber both 2.75" or 3" magnum ammo. The extended magazine tube will carry 6 + 1 of the 2.75" round. This gun is parkerized, the barrel bore is bright with no pitting and the action is in excellent shape. It is in near new condition with no visible scratches, dings or wear. Although now out of business, Remington is known for building top quality shotguns with maximum reliability and endurance. It won't fail you in your time of need. I'm a factory trained Remington 870 armorer and I completely disassembled / inspected / cleaned this gun so I know it is mechanically sound with plenty of life left.
