Made in 1958, serial number 12598 wears 26.5-inch barrels with fixed chokes (C/IC), single-bead vent rib, ejectors and 3-inch chambers. Additional features include round knob, long tang and mechanical safety. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.4 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.15 inches (over pad), drops are 1.6 and 2.25 inches, and cast off is approximately .20-inch. CONDITION: The bores are bright and shiny, the top lever rests well right, barrels are tight on face and operational mechanics are proper. Barrels fall open with slight resistance. Metal has been refinished and current condition is about 70% with thinning, freckling and scattered light pitting covered by newer finish. Wood appears to have been recoated with varnish and its current condition is about 85% with light impressions and scratches on butt consistent with field use. A Pachmayr White Line pad has been added. The price is firm and layaway is available.
