This rifle was one of the guns made for the Royal Air Force back in 1955 but was never issued. They were crated and then put in storage until being discovered decades later and sold on the surplus market. It is in beautiful un issued condition and possible never fired although I do believe all military weapons are test fired. All matching numbered parts. These rifles are the best of the Enfield No4 series. This one is a 60 year old time capsule and is as new. .. Most of these rifles have been bought up by collectors so they are scarce.
