The Body thickness on this magazine is .428 inch. Unless your 1934 Beretta’s magazine well measures at least .430 wide, please do not order. The Beretta Model of 1934 pistol enjoyed a production run from its year of inception until the late 1980s. Most specimens manufactured in the 1930s and 1940s had issue magazines whose thickness was .425 inches or less. Here is Triple K’s contribution to those durable pistols, the number 4M Magazine. Manufacturer is Triple K of San Diego. Construction is blue steel body, spring, and inside floorplate with hard black polymer finger rest style outer floorplate and cartridge follower. Each magazine holds 7 rounds of .380 ACP ammunition, and the pistols themselves bear the 9mm Corto Italian language designation for that caliber. Triple K magazines are, as the company advertises, Bench Tested with Perfect Feed Springs. Triple K’s recently improved heat treatment and finishing process has given us excellent performance experience among our local shooters and on our own firearms that we deal. This magazine Will Not fit a wartime production Beretta 1934. This magazine will only fit a 1934 Beretta Pistol chambered in .380 ACP / 9mm Corto Caliber, and whose magazine will accommodate a .428 thick magazine. It will not fit a Beretta Jaguar, or an FIE Titan, or the cigarette lighter cavity on a 1949 Studebaker. Original military issue Italian military magazines often command prices upwards of $150 apiece, and we certainly keep an eye peeled for those, but little luck over many years.
