Made in 1907, serial number 301173 (3x matching) has a 5.5-inch barrel. Loading gate part number is 3021. CONDITION: The bore is fair, with mild roughness from end-to-end and softened rifling. Chambers are very good. The cylinder locks snug and the hammer positions operate properly. Markings are very good. Metal finish is nearly absent, giving way to silvering. Metal surfaces have a general distribution of scratches and dings. Grips are good, although each bushing area is cracked on the inside (visible when grips removed). Grip surfaces are smoothed and a minor chip is present at the leading bottom edge of the left panel. Screw slots are very good. It is possible that the single screw at the front of the guard as well as the cylinder pin are replacements. The price is firm and layaway is available.
