Because of the rifles age we did not disassemble to see the serial number, but it will have a serial numbers between 15,500-21,000 as the serial numbers remain hidden under the wood. Barrel marking is faint but present and reads "HENRY'S PATENT-OCT. 16, 1860 KING'S PATENT-MARCH 29, 1866". We have inspected this rifle and it functions correctly. Because this is an antique firearm it should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing. Please see pictures.
