New lower price as of 1/15/24. 7.62x39 Caliber. New in Box and gooped with Russkie cosmoline. Imported by PW Arms in Zastava, Yugoslavia to AIM, an American importer. It’s well documented on the internet that only 250 were imported before a trade ban shut them off. This makes it one of the rarest SKS configurations in America. I had 3 of them, sold one recently, now selling another. Last year in April one sold on GunBroker for 1600 dollars. I can furnish a picture of that ad along with several high-res photos of the firearm(s), the original shipping box and contents, the import paperwork, and all the accessories to any SERIOUS buyer. The photos in this ad are the cleaned up one I recently sold. I wanted to show what they look like clean because they are a mess out-of-the-box. The one I am selling now is covered in cosmoline and plastic "feathers." Russian cosmoline is high in petoleum distillates and over the years it dissolved alot of the plastic bag that was wrapped over the gun. This one will clean up just like the one in the photos, but I left it as is for the purist collector. I have dozens of photos of this one in its current uncleaned state. The accessories they came with are a gunstrap, a tubular SKS gun cleaning kit, and a decorative rope. The cleaning kits are new and still wrapped in oil soaked butcher paper, the decorative rope is new and must have been an accessory to their uniform, and the gun straps are either new or used very little. A new manual is included with each and within it are several pages with Slovenian government firearm condition inspection and import stamps and handwritten signatures. The internal parts are still heavily covered in cosmoline. I briefly removed it from box for inspection and photos and then put it back. The metal and stock are flawless, there are no handling marks.
