The 10 1/2" 75 caliber round steel barrel if from an early 18th century British Tower pistol. The lock & stock are from a British Tower musket that has been cut-down. Very unique, & certainly one of a kind. Everything fits together perfectly. All functions of the lock work well. I don't know long guns. For all I know this may be common. But this is the only lock I've ever had that is made so that it will not go off half cocked. It holxds cock in both positions. Hammer comes down strong from 2nd position when trigger is pulled. The ramrod is a replacment. Raw, tapered hikery wood with brass tip. Just the right length, fits snug in its pipe. This gun is ready to shoot. Overall length is 18 1/2".
