Features include a free floating 24-inch stainless steel barrel with recessed target crown and .700 muzzle diameter, stainless steel solid-bottom action, polished stainless steel bolt (straight bolt handle, two lugs, push feed) and a two-position safety. The stock is shaped from a superb blank of what appears to be Turkish walnut with rippling primary and swirling crossing grain running through its full length. The forend is a proper semi-beavertail with a flat bottom for riding the bags and the comb a slight Monte Carlo for a natural cheek weld. A steel grip cap provides an unnecessary but welcome finishing touch. The trigger pull is exceptional. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 9.0 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.3 inches. ACCURACY: Dated 11/30/05, the included factory test target shows three shots with a center-to-center spread of .530 inch with 50-grain Winchester Supreme Ballistic Silvertip ammunition at a distance of 100 yards.
