Manufacturer was Akkar Silah Sanayi Ltd. of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. Importer was Samco Global Arms, Inc. / SGAI of Miami, the Charles Daly importer from 2012 until 2015. From its 11 serial number prefix, it was manufactured in 2011, a pre-Daly. Action is double slide bar pump shotgun, Benelli Nova type. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, levers, and internal parts, built into a light weight alloy receiver, with graphite based synthetic stock and forend; and with polymer trigger housing assembly. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Barrel is 28 inch with muzzle threaded for standard Rem-choke tubes. Bore is standard diameter, non back bored, and chrome lined. Tube furnished is .7065 diameter Modified, 3 slash marks. Sight system is .275 width serrated top, 8 post ventilated rib, that sits .21inch above the barrel at the lug. Front sight is conventional brass bead that mates with the serrated receiver top. Magazine tube is 13 inch open end with spring retainer, holds 5 rounds of 2 3/4 inch or 4 rounds of 3 inch 12 gauge shells interchangeably, 5 + 1 fully loaded capacity without any magazine adapter. Operators of Italian shotguns and their clones often figure out how to rest a ghost round on the shell carrier. The .240 smooth faced trigger pulls single stage at 4 pounds vicinity with moderate felt creep and overtravel. Safety is push button type, behind the trigger, set on right handed shooter, and gunsmith reversible. Forend is semi beavertail with checkered surface laterals. Buttstock is field type. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 3/4 inch recoil pad. Stock drop is standard 1 1/2 at comb and 2 1/2 inches at the heel with 1 inch right handed cant. Stock has molded checkered laterals on the pistol grip. Weight empty is 6 pounds, 6 ounces, with center of gravity at the breech face. Finish is Matte Blued Barrel and Magazine Tube, with flat black anodized receiver; and with dark oxide carrier and bolt; and with black polymer trigger assembly. Marking is electronically engraved on the barrel and inked on the receiver, with roll stamped serial number that usually affects the finish next to it. Surface detractions are minimal, principally very faint edge wear on the lower right side receiver, and very faint streaking to the shell carrier. We rate this Daly as Excellent in Box, 90 to 95 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, threads, and mechanism are all bright and clean. If this shotgun was ever fired, it was fewer than 25 times. It comes in its original box with protective papers.
