Here are well maintained factory Smith & Wesson magazines to fit any 5900 type compact double stacked 9mm metal frame pistol. Manufacturer and exclusive distributor has always been Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA, and its contractors. From their configuration, with no more than 14 round count ports, these magazines were all manufactured prior to 1993. Parent pistols were manufactured between 1989 and 1992. Construction is one piece folded stainless steel body, with steel spring and inner plate, and with polymer finger rest and cartridge follower. Backs are full length tig welded, with smooth milled seams and with buffed surface stainless bodies. Each magazine holds 14 rounds of 9mm ammunition. Bodies are scored laterally for 5 and 10 round position round count ports on the earlier bodies, or 14 round right side and 13 round left side ports on the later Pre-Ban versions. These magazines will fit any 59 or 69 series Smith & Wesson 9mm, including models 59, 459, 559, 659, 910, 915, 5903, 5904, 5926, 5926, 5976, and 5986, including the TSW variants. They will fit compact model 69 series that accept double stacked magazines, including models 469, 669, 6904, 6906, 6926, and 6946; as well as a Daewoo DP51, but they will protrude from the grip frames of the smaller pistols. They will fit a Marlin Camp 9 Carbine. They will kit Kel-Tec model P11 Pistols and Sub-2000 rifles, but only the rifles that were designed from S&W 59 / 5900 magazines. They are an iffy fit for Star models 28, 30, and 31, but only if the Star's magazine safety is removed. They will not fit any other firearms that we know of. They are correct for any Smith & Wesson 5900 series pistols manufactured before 1994. The entire 5900 series pistols themselves were discontinued in 2009. These magazines come from us with service in US Air Force auxiliaries in the Caribbean. Surface detractions are moderate, as the photos show. We rate them as Very Good Condition.
