Military cartouches on either side of the grips and various subinspector marks throughout. Serial number 22829. Metal parts have fine original blue finish overall, about 40% and very bright. Top of frame and top of barrel have numerous dings, probably from someone trying to force the gun back together after removing the cylinder. Has a small crack in the right side of the frame where the rammer passes through. Some case colors present on the lever and quite vivid on the hammer. Grip is good, showing average wear and use, abraded slightly on the butt edges and dinged on the butt from improper use as a hammer. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
