This listing is for ONE set of grips, complete with screw and escutcheons. Buy 3 sets, however, or any 3 non gun non ammo items, and shipping is Free for the entire order, lower 48. Photos show sets of factory walnut grips we found that came from round butt model 10 revolvers manufactured in 1962. Manufacturer was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA. Construction is American Walnut, with nickel plated factory S&W brass medallions, brass screw escutcheons, and recent production blued steel replacement screw. All of them are serialized in low 500,000 range, so they were manufactured in 1962. The factory did not include the C prefix on the grips, only the digits. These grips not only fit the round butt 10, but also fit models 13, 19, 64, 65, 66, 386 and 686 only if they have a round butt grip frame. These will Not fit a square butt K or L frame. Please see the included photo if you aren’t sure whether your revolver is round or square butt. Type is Magna or Service size standard panels. These grips will accommodate a Tyler Grip Adapter and a speedloader [shown but not included]. They will Not fit a Smith & Wesson Square Butt Revolver, will Not fit a J or M or N frame; will Not fit the nozzle of a 1958 Rubbermaid 2 Quart Water Bottle. These are the direct ancestors, of course, to Smith & Wesson’s current production Dymondwood Laminated grips. On a 1950s or 1960s revolver, these grips can add as much as $200 to the value of the revolver. Finish is original issue plain oil finish, with diamond pattern cut checkering on the panel centers. Surface wear is minimal to moderate, principally occasional wear to the right panel’s back area, dimness to one or both of the medallions, and occasion department marking inconspicuously on the butt edges. We rate them as Very Good, 80% vicinity by our estimate. They are collectable in their own right, even if a person doesn’t own a round butt Smith & Wesson K or L frame revolver. They are an attractive asset to any Smith & Wesson K / L Round Butt Revolver, even if it has a two piece barrel and internal lock. We’re offering these Serviceable, attractive, 1962 magnas, however, complete with screw and escutcheon, per set at only $ 34.00.
