Description: Offered for sale; a Percussion Rifle Lock which represents the American period of 1840's to 1870's. The lock is polished steel and measures approximately 4 3/4 inches overall lenght X 7/8 inches height at it's highest. There is a fly in the tumbler so it may be used with a set trigger arrangement if desired and it is cut for a nominal 1/2 inch bolster. The lock is American made by the Siler Lock Co. and is complete in all regards any ready to be installed. The purchaser will have to provide the necessary cross bolt for retaining the lock in the stock mortice. Please ask any questions which needs clarification prior to purchase. Because the lock is part for a rifle, it is not returnable.
