A Birmingham gun, serial 137559 wears 26-inch barrels with a scalloped rib. Chokes are IC/F and chambers are 2.75-inches. Additional features include ejectors, mechanical safety, splinter forend and an English stock with checkered butt. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.6 pounds, length-of-pull is 14.6 inches, drops are 1.5 and 2.25 inches and cast is slight to the point of being insignificant. ENGRAVING: The action bears the maker's name surrounded by medium scroll to about 75 percent coverage, the pattern extending over the forend furniture, lever, tangs and screws. CONDITION: The bores are mirror bright and barrels are full on face. Barrel blue is at least 98 percent and only slightly less on the balance. Colors are bright and 80 percent. Wood condition and is about 97 percent, with only a few minor field impressions. Markings and engraving remain sharp. Colors on the toe line oval (blank) are faded to about 40 percent.
