Serial number 95971X, built 1924. Caliber 32 Winchester Special. I believe that 1924 was the last year of the SRC in 32 Win. Sp. This 20" carbine is in excellent shape for the age with every bit of the finish at about 80% plus. The bore is very bright with no rust or pits. It comes with a Lyman tang sight and a Sheard brass tip blade front sight. It also has Winchester proof marks on the barrel, although Winchester has no records on this carbine,(we asked,the records were lost)but Winchester told us that it was returned to Winchester for some work at some time in history. The wood is in very good shape with some old age marks. No cracks that I can find. Offers are welcome. More pictures available by email.
