Here is the last man standing for replacement magazines for Star BM9 series compact pistols, manufactured in Spain by Star Echeverria from 1972 until 1992. Manufacturer and Warrantor is Triple K Manufacturing of San Diego. Construction is entirely steel, with blue finish body that is slot ported on the left side for round count, and with chrome plated steel cartridge follower. Each magazine holds 8 rounds of 9mm ammunition: 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, call it what you will, THE 9mm. This magazine will only fit Star models BM, BK, and BKM, so marked on the grip frame butt of the pistol. It will not fit any other pistol. A few BM series pistols had military markings on their grip frame butts, such as RM for the Spanish Navy. A BM has a height of 5.06 inches, and a barrel length of 3.77 inches. Most were imported by Interarms, with recent imports from Century Arms and PW Arms. The 1970s Spanish Israeli Police Star Model BM9 in some of our photos is not included, of course.
