One of the improvements of the Witness over its ancestors is the strength and capability of the pistol’s magazines. Here is EAA’s California Compliant 10 shot factory magazine for current production Witness pistols. Manufacturer is Fratelli Tangfolio of Italy, also the manufacturer of the pistols. Importer and warrantor is E.A.A. of Miami, European American Armory. Construction is matte blue serrated body, with steel spring and heavy duty black polymer extended floorplate and cartridge follower. Factory sku is 101920. Each magazine holds 10 rounds of 9mm Luger caliber ammunition – 9x19, 9mm NATO, 9mm Parabellum, call it what you will, The 9mm. That is 8 fewer rounds than the current production 101935 magazines. They do not fit any other pistol that we know of. Body length is 4 1/2 inches, and that is the depth of the magazine well, the distance from the butt end of the pistol’s grip frame to the closed slide. On short frame compact variants of the witness, this magazine will protrude from its grip frame but otherwise will work just fine.
