Wilson Combat has been known as the finest builder of custom, hand-fit 1911 pistols in this country for decades. They have created many models that cover everything from race guns, target guns, full size defensive weapons, and compact concealed carry guns. This Model KZ-45 custom-built pistol, snWCP00368, is one of Wilson’s most unique models, as it has a Kevlar/stainless steel composite frame that is super strong and super lightweight. The gun has no use or holster wear, is tight as new, and we have ordered new Tritium for the Wilson Combat Lo-Mount adjustable sights. In fact there is only one tiny handling mark on the left side of the frame. The gun is otherwise in 100% original condition. When found in near new condition they are quite desirable and collectible, as they were only made for a few years and most you see are quite worn. They were discontinued in 2009. It is also his only .45acp offered with a staggered magazine allowing for 10 rounds in the mag and one in the chamber of the potent .45acp….and this in a lightweight platform ideal for concealed carry! It is not a “double-stack” magazine, which requires a large, bulky grip that many find uncomfortable. The magazine allows the bullets to be loaded in a slightly staggered manner that gets a few more rounds in the mag. Combine that with the ultra-thin Kevlar and you get a very comfortable grip with 10+1 capacity. The rest of the pistol is Bill Wilson custom in all ways, with hand-fit tolerances, crisp trigger pull breaking at 3.5lbs. every time, Armor Tuff finishes and superb good looks. Weighing just 31oz. empty, this is a comfortable defensive carry gun that functions dependably and accurately. When it comes to the defense of your loved ones or yourself, it makes no sense to fool around with lesser pistols. Reliability and accuracy when it really counts…how much is that worth when the scene goes bad? Wilson Combat 1911 pistols always hold their value and it is worth every penny to have the best.
