Ser# U8674x Early Pre World War I This was made before Remington stamped M10 on the barrel. No US and flaming bomb proof Marks stamped on receiver. 12gauge Barrel is stamped CYL and there is a JHA stamped in the stock. Barrel and receiver have the same serial number and it is a take-down gun. This may have been a Railroad Guard or Post Office Gun? Included is a New York Lake Erie & Western R.R. Co's Telegraph 1890's Receipt that has the name John H Allen and 1915 written in pencil that was found rolled up in the stock screw hole under the butt plate. The name and date are very faint but can be made out. The same initials are stamped into the butt stock. (I forgot I still had this document as I have had this gun a long time) Barrel length from end to bolt face is 20 inches Length Of Pull is 12 3/8 inches. There is a crack in butt plate, handguard and stock. Check the pictures to see the cracks. The Bore is shiny with no pits that I can see. The bluing is aged in some spots and rubbed off in some spots like a well used riot gun. Will ship anywhere in Lower 48 States to FFL or C&R FFL through the USPS Priority Mail.
