Only 126 rifles were made by Miroku for Winchester in 2007 and sold exclusively by Davidson's, a well-known distributor. This rifle is serial number 22. It features a heavy ½ octagon ½ round 30” Badger barrel. The rifling twist rate is 1 in 26. It came from the factory with no sights but the previous owner added a spirit level globe front sight and fired the rifle a few times. The receiver tang is drilled and tapped to accept a tang sight. The front top of the receiver and rear of the barrel are drilled and tapped to install scope bases if desired. The stock was cracked at the wrist during shipping and professionally repaired. The repaired stock is guaranteed to be stronger than it was originally but, as seen in the photos, the repair left a thin line around the wrist indicating the location of the break. Hence the reason the listed price is $350 less than what I’d normally list the rifle for. Of course the buyer can have the stock replaced if a "perfect" stock is required. I'm betting, for a reduced price, there's someone that is more interested in a Win. 1885 High Wall "shooter" with a Badger Barrel than a perfect stock. In that case I'm willing to guarantee the stock will not crack or break at the SAME LOCATION for 1 year from the date of purchase. If it does, in exchange for the broken stock and after inspecting it to verify the crack or break is at the same location, I will refund the owner $350 for a replacement stock. If the rifle does not sell I'll have the stock replaced and relist it for $350 more. The rifle was disassembled, cleaned and completely checked out. It was not dirty and shows no signs of wear. The bore is perfect. There is one tiny ding on the barrel to the rear of the front sight and only a couple of very tiny “safe dings” on the wood. Measured on a highly accurate postage scale the rifle weighs 10 lbs 13.2 oz. It will be shipped with the original rifle owner’s manual. NOTE - I SELL TO CALIFORNIA BUYERS FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
