Gun has a 2 1/2 inch barrel with an excellent, bright bore showing strong rifling. This first model Bull Dog was built from 1888 to 1904 and it remains in very good condition with over 95% nickel. 95% blue on and a case colored hammer. Frame shows light scratches with no apparent nickel loss. Action is perfectly smooth. Original grip panels are both cracked on the backstrap corner on each (a very common problem due to poor pinhole placement on the outer edge of the fragile grips). Replacement grips are available online. A very attractive example.
