From its exclusive local West Tennessee owner comes this very attractive percussion shotgun. Manufacturer was Davide Pedersoli & Co., snc, of Gardone, Italy. This specimen is Not importer stamped. From its AC date code, it was manufactured in 1977. Construction is entirely steel metal, including the butt plate, on a one piece walnut stock with matching brass tipped ramrod. Barrels are 28 1/2 inch smooth bore, with a .7195 improved cylinder right muzzle and .7135 modified left tube. Ignition is # 11 percussion cap, with double triggers. Sight is hex base bead on serrated surface flush rib, with gently recessed rear sight. Triggers are .250 smooth faced, pull at 6 pounds vicinity with moderate felt creep and overtravel. Hammers are external spur two position, half cock and full cock. Resting position is on the nipple. Barrels are held in place by a single removable wedge pin. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches, with a gentle 1/2 inch right hand cast. Stock drop is the usual 1 1/2 by 2 1/2. Ramrod security is 3 thimbles and spring depressor inside the forend area. Overall length is 44 3/4 inches; weight empty is 5 pounds 13 ounces, center 3 1/2 inches forward of the nipples. Finish is polished surface blued barrels, forward thimbles, wedge pin, triggers, trigger guard, screws and buttplate; with color casehardened rear thimble, pin escutcheons, later and lower lock plates, and hammers. Stock is satin finished walnut with cut checkered laterals on the wrists. Surface detractions are minimal to moderate, principally finish freckling that is not readily conspicuous. We rate this shotgun as Very Good Condition, perhaps even Excellent, 85 to 90 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bores are both whistle clean; this shotgun's owner kept its bore clean. Replacement pricing on this shotgun ranges in four figures up to $4,000 vicinity, with none to be found.
