This US Model of 1917 by Remington's Eddystone Arsenal was made during WWI and pulled out to serve in WWII. Behind the bolt in the photo you will see the Ogden Utah Arsenal cartouche with O.G.E.K showing inspection by the famous Elmer Keith, Chief Inspector. Also on the wood and metal are various other markings to include the old Eagle Head acceptance mark and the Flaming Bomb. The wood is all sound, with deep finger grooves. No rust on the metal. The rifle is complete.. The WWII barrel is marked and proofed as made by High Standard, with HS over the flaming bomb, over the P, proof mark. More photos and details upon request.
