This example is marked for the manufacturer LOEWE of Berlin. This is a MATCHING NUMBERS rifle in very good overall condition. 29” round barrel is very good with scattered surface wear, blue loss. The bore remains clean with excellent rifling. The action is very good with minimal wear, blue loss. All markings are crisp and clear. The bolt action functions flawlessly and is as smooth as butter! Both the bolt handle and assembly numbers match the receive number. The floorplate and trigger guard are very good with nice bluing; Numbers match that of the receiver and bolt assembly. The stock remains good with moderate field wear; No notable flaws but plenty of patina! The stock numbers match the other numbers. The only number that does not match is that of the cleaning rod which must be a field replacement. VERY ATTRACTIVE RIFLE IN ORIGINAL CONDITION!
