From its exclusive civilian owner in Colorado comes this Taurus model 905 revolver chambered in the 9mm Luger caliber. Manufacturer, of course, is Forjas Taurus of Porto Alegre, Brazil. Importer and warrantor is Taurus International of Miami. From this 905's NRA00500 range serial number, it was manufactured in 2014. Type is center fire double and single action pocket revolver. Since it chambers a rimless cartridge only, it will necessarily employ one of the 5 moon clips that we have included. Construction is entirely stainless steel, with nickel plated trigger, hammer, and thumb latch. The moon clips are a very nice and very old invention that amounts to having five speedloaders, and they certainly simplify the retrieval of fired brass. Trigger is .300 smooth faced satin chrome with matching .335 medium spur hammer. Double Action trigger pull is 15 pounds vicinity over 3/4 inch of travel. Single action pull is a crisp 4 1/2 pounds with negligible felt creep and overtravel. The 905, like all of its production peers, has an internal transfer bar safety as well as the Taurus patented hammer-internal lock security system with two keys. Caliber is 9mm Luger, 9x19, 9mm Parabellum, call it what you will, THE 9mm. Capacity is 5 rounds. Grips are factory Taurus pebble grain Boot Grip; and weight empty is a well balanced, pleasant-shooting 23 ounces. Sights are fixed notch rear and stepped ramp front. Finish is matte stainless barrel and body, with semi gloss furniture. Surface detractions are minimal, principally cylinder rotation marking, and some scouring on the under side of the barrel. We rate it as Excellent Condition, 90 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We estimate it has been fired fewer than 300 times, no rounds at all for a Taurus. It comes in its original box with protective papers, instruction manual, two keys for its internal lock, a total of five moon clips, a firing pin protector, and a never executed warranty card.
