Shipping: $45.00 (or Arrange local transfer) Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: 5 Days This Seller Accepts Instant Online Payments Description: This is a used Remington 870 Wingmaster 12-gauge pump shotgun with an 18.5" blue steel barrel, bead front sight & sling. It will chamber 2.75" 12- gauge ammo and holds up to 4 in the tube and 1 in the magazine. It has wood stocks with no cracks, but some scratches & marks on the barrel, trigger guard and receiver. I stripped off the old finish and painted the stocks pink with "Dura-Coat", a really tough gun coating. The gun is blue steel, the barrel bore is bright with no pits and the action is in excellent shape. Also, I installed a new Remington butt pad on this gun for maximum comfort. This is a "police trade-in" from the West Sacramento Police Department. It is marked "W.S.P.D. 20" on the receiver. This gun had originally been painted yellow and was used as a 'less than lethal' deterrent by the officers so wear was light. I'm a factory trained Remington 870 armorer and I went through this gun completely and test fired it so I know it is mechanically sound with plenty of life left. It had been used for "less than lethal" munitions so it has light wear. Clearly it was carried a lot but used little. The 870 Wingmaster has these improved characteristics: An aluminum trigger group as opposed to the plastic one used in the Express models. An old style magazine retention system. A much smoother finish inside and out with minimal machine marks or burrs. It has a one piece barrel and the bore was polished. The barrel is locked down with a "ball detent" system (as opposed to the lesser grade "synthetic magazine spring retainer" lock down used in the Express models). A milled extractor (as opposed to the MIM extractor used in the Express models). It was built to be absolutely reliable and to keep running even under the harshest conditions.
