Here is the new Winchester 101 Select. It is a closely machined, tight fitting, cosmetically perfect shotgun that retains all the classic lines of Winchester 101 tradition. Manufacturer and warrantor is Fabrique Nationale of Herstal, Belgium. Importer and Warrantor is Browning Arms Company of Arnold, MO. Type is over and under field shotgun. Barrels are 26 inch Invector Plus, with back bore that permits any kind of projectile, except NO slugs. It comes with a total of three choke tubes, Improved Cylinder, Modified, and full, and a wrench. Sight system is 12 post, .375 serrated top vent rib with bead sight, and that sits .270 above the barrel at midsection. Trigger is .357 smooth faced blued steel. Ejection system is split ejectors; transfer is recoil operated. Tang safety is the barrel selector as well. Stock drop is standard field 1 1/2 inches at the comb, and 2 3/8 inches at the heel, with a 14 inch length of pull to the end of the decelerator type recoil pad. Weight empty is superbly balanced 7 pounds. Finish is polished surface blued with receiver engraving; and classic 101 glossy finished walnut. Our present stock all have 13AMR serial number prefixes, 2013 production. Each 101 comes well greased in its original factory box, with protective papers, tube and wrench holders, owner's manual, and factory registration card.
