Description: Thank you for looking at my listing! This is a “fixed price” sale; offers will not be considered. I work exclusively through the GA mail system. Should you wish to purchase this firearm, please exercise the “Buy It” option. In doing so, please include your name, address and telephone number. Offers will be considered on a first come, first served basis assuming that you have provided me with your information as requested.

If you are inquiring about this gun I would be delighted to provide you with any additional information, pictures, etc. that you might want. When writing, please include your first name so that I can address a message back to you as an individual (I don’t want your last name, social security number or banking information). Some folks have some fairly idiotic e-mail addresses and I hate like hell to address them as horsesass12, dungmaster007, creampuff53, etc. If you are requesting additional photos, please include your e-mail address as the GA site does not provide for picture attachments to e-mail messages.

Finally, I am a collector, not a dealer. I have no idea as to what is going on in California with regard to gun sales. If it is legal for me to sell a gun to you, and for you to acquire it, I will do so. If you are a Californian, I will work with you to get it done. If there are added costs to do so, these costs will be passed on to you. I ship directly to an FFL holder as provided by the law. If your receiving dealer will not accept a shipment from a non-licensee (that’s me), the cost for me to use a local dealer for shipping will be passed on to you as well ($20). Actual shipping cost to apply (determined at time of sale). I do not charge for packaging, handling, etc. That’s utter nonsense. Fair enough?

This pre-64 Model 94, was manufactured in 1952 (s/n 182433x). It is a standard carbine, caliber 30-30. It is by no means a showpiece, but it is a nice gun with an excellent bore. Most of the bluing is gone, but there is no rust or corrosion on the metal. The wood is intact as well. A round medallion has been placed in the butt stock on the right side. It reads “C.F. Spangenberg – Tombstone A.T.” and “Pioneer Gunsmith - Est. 1880”. It appears that the rear sight elevator has been replaced with a non-original type and the front sight hood is missing. Despite its condition, it is a better quality gun than the ones that Winchester built after 1964, including those that rolled off the line just before the plant closed in 2006.
