The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for the Browning X-Lock scope mounting system which uses 4 screws instead of 2 screws for consistency. The short 60 degree bolt throw is fast cycling and allows for quick loading without interference from the scope. The Browning Feather Trigger is the heart of accuracy with the X-Bolt Max. Clean, crisp, no take-up and minimal overtravel gives the Feather Trigger a superior feel. With an adjustable trigger pull weight from 3 to 5 lbs you can find the pull weight that best meets your needs. The trigger is pre-set at approximately 3.5 lbs at the factory.
