Description: Colt New Line First Model .41 Centerfire. Made in 1877, serial 8438 (appears on barrel with partial on cylinder) has a 2 1/8 inch barel and 5-shot cylinder. CONDITION: The bore is very good, with strong rifling and but minimal roughness. Chambers have minimal roughness. Mechanics are strong (cylinder rotating and locking, cocking, trigger pull and hammer fall). Markings are sharp. Metal finish is trace, having silvered and browned. Metal surfaces are generally smooth. Grips are solid. The price is firm. A complete photo package is available by request (please include your direct email address with this request as the GA system does not support attachment of large digital files). No FFL is required for purchase.
