Has the rare "Ilion Works" stamping. These beauties were D&T for scope mounts. This one has the rare Marble Tang Peep Sight made to fit the curve of the Remington's receiver. Very accurate. I test fired it with LR ctgs. and hit a penny and a quarter at 60 feet distance. Truly the "greatest generation" kids best .22 rifle. Hard to find in Very Good condition.
