Manufacturer was Akkar Silah Sanayi Ltd. of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. Importer was Samco Global Arms, Inc. / SGAI of Miami, the Charles Daly Importer from 2012 until 2015. From its 10 serial number prefix, it was manufactured in 2010, a pre-Daly. Action is double slide bar pump shotgun, Benelli Nova type. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, levers, and internal parts, built into a light weight alloy receiver, with graphite synthetic stock and forend, and with polymer trigger housing assembly. Chambering is 12 gauge, for 2 3/4 inch or 3 inch shells interchangeably. Barrel is 23 3/4 inches, nominally 24 inch, with .7240 Cylinder Bore fixed choke Muzzle. Bore is standard diameter, non back bored, and chrome lined. Sight system is one piece steel welded front that sits .386 above the barrel, and that mates with rounded blade two piece modified 700 style rear that is adjustable for windage and elevation. Receiver has .500 by 1.40 inch dovetails that will accept a matching base adapter for an optics system. We do not believe that a Weaver or Grooved Receiver mount will work. Magazine tube is 13 inch open end with spring retainer, holds 5 rounds of 2 3/4 inch, or 4 rounds of 3 inch, 20 gauge shells. Operators of Italian shotguns and their clones often figure out how to rest a ghost round on the shell carrier. The .240 smooth faced trigger pulls single stage at 7 pounds vicinity with substantial felt creep and moderate overtravel. Safety is push button type for right handed shooter, behind the trigger, gunsmith reversible. Forend is semi beavertail with corncob type serrations. Buttstock is field type. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 3/4 inch recoil pad. Stock drop is 1 1/2 at the comb and 2 1/4 inches at the heel with 3/4 inch right handed cant. Stock has molded checkered laterals on the pistol grip. Weight empty is 6 pounds, 7 ounces, with center of gravity at the breech face. Overall length is 43 3/4 inches. Barrel finish is matte blue, with matte black anodized receiver finish, and with dark oxide carrier and bolt. Marking is electronically engraved on the barrel and inked on the receiver, with roll stamped serial number that usually affects the finish next to it. Surface detractions are negligible, only faint forend contact on the receiver's left side. We rate this Akkar as Excellent in Box, 90 to 95 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We do not believe it were ever loaded or fired. It comes in its original box with protective papersand instruction manual.
