Kimber Stainless Compact Carry II. New in Box All paperwork, tags, lock, magazine, Kimber hard case I bought this for my wife to use in a professional shooting course. She ended up using a different firearm. This has not been shot. The only thing I did was attach a piece of non-skid tape to front of frame at grip to improve shooter's grip. I have five 1911s, all have front strap checkering, stippling, or this tape for this purpose. The front strap checkering was not offerred on this model. Tape is simple to remove, just lift off. Try it before you remove it though as it vastly improves grip, especially during a high-stress or fast draw scenario, or with a wet or sweaty hand, and adds stability for quick repeat shots. I dont need to sell this, but I'm not sure I need that many and I havent taken this out of the gun safe since I got it. Time to thin the herd. The current MSRP is $1052.00. The street price might be less. In checking dealers for this I note that like all things firearm related now, these are back-ordered at the dealers I have checked. The only reason this is discounted is to make it attractive for a quicker sale, a few dollars more wont add much for me. There is no gimmick here, it is new and unblemished as described.
