It is the M1300 Turkey with a mossy-oak type finish. It features rifle-style sights, a 22-inch smoothbore barrel, and a Winchester X-Full choke for long-range shots at turkeys. The magazine tube currently has a spacer inside, so capacity is only 2+1. Removal of the spacer will give the shooter a maximum capacity of 4+1. The 1300 Turkey is chambered for both 2.75” and 3” shells. Being a pump shotgun, both shell lengths can be used with no trouble (some semi-autos chambered for the 3” have trouble cycling 2.75” shells). This shotgun would make a nice choice for turkey hunting were full body camouflage is desired. Most turkey hunting will require shots to distances between 20-35 yards. However, some situations may require a shot to distances as close as 10 yards and as far away 50 yards. The closer you are the more camouflage becomes necessary. The extra full choke will ensure the shot all hit the target in a small area. The 1300 is in great condition. There is one small spot on the left side of the receiver wear the finish is worn, but it could be painted it in a color that conforms to the mossy oak motif. The bore is clear and bright, and the action operates smoothly. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. If you are looking for a reliable, pump shotgun for your next turkey hunt, the M1300 is a good choice.
