The holster and half of the shoulder belt are made of a single piece of leather. The holster is folded and has a seam at the rear and a deep trigger groove. It was not built with a toe plug. It has a foliate pattern around the edges and also on the seam side on the rear. The rear is stamped “181/32/2/32.” No maker name. Holster is 7 inches long and 4 inches wide, trigger groove is 1-9/16. Will fit Colt 1849 pocket with 4 inch bbl or similar sized revolver. The rest of the shoulder belt is made of same width leather belt, only with rough side out and finished side on the inside. This ends in a rectangular finial that is stitched to the bottom part of the shoulder belt/holster piece. A much thinner leather belt that goes around the person’s back and over the neck, is made of leather and held to the top pieces of the shoulder belt with old rivets. This belt has a buckle for adjustment. Russet finish is almost all there, some loss of finish at the front at the bottom of the holster is about it.
