Description: Up for sale is a 1969 Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman in .357 Magnum. This 28 is a "S" serial that's most desired by all collectors. The revolver features a 6” pinned barrel, original S&W factory grips, case hardened target hammer, case hardened serrated trigger, and adjustable rear sight. It has all the desirable features no longer found on current Smiths: It has the square butt grip frame, a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder, the firing pin is on the hammer. The finish and grips are beautiful. The action is nice, the timing is perfect for being 50 years old.
