Here is Walther’s short flat plate magazine that comes with the Walther PPS .40 S&W caliber pistols. It will only fit Walther model PPS Pistols chambered in .40 S&W caliber. It will not fit any other firearm. Manufacturer is Mec-Gar of Italy under contract to Walther Arms; importer and warrantor is Walther Arms of Fort Smith, AR. Construction is bright blue steel body, steel springs, black polymer finger rest grip extension. Each magazine holds 5 rounds of .40 S&W caliber ammunition. Walther Factory number is 2796554. It will fit models imported by Smith & Wesson, as well as current production models imported by Walther Arms of Fort Smith, Arkansas. The pistols are the same. This is the shortest of three different magazines manufactured for the PPS .40, and this variant keeps the pistol’s grip frame at its shortest possible length.
