Single shot lever action rifle in .22 magnum. Barrel length is 18” with open sights. LOP is 13 1/2” to an Ithaca HRBP. Overall length is 34 1/2”. Beautiful very highly figured walnut stock and forend are excellent...no dings or scratches. Barrel and receiver are excellent with no rust, pitting or scratches. Mechanisms function flawlessly. This is the Deluxe model with gold trigger, gold hammer and sling. Called the Saddlegun by Ithaca, it is great for youngsters and the beginning shooter. Very Scarce M49 Magnum Deluxe in absolute mint condition. Includes a Deluxe leather scabbard in excellent condition. Gun does not have a serial number and was one of the very first Model 49’s that Ithaca made, circa 1962. A fantastic early Model 49...the nicest one that I have ever encountered.
