Grades V.G.+. Metal and wood have 97% of original factory finish overall, never sanded or refinished. Nice clear, sharp markings on barrel and upper tang, mechanically excellent. The .32 W.S. cartridge is better for black bear, deer, elk., than .30 W.C.F.. Marble's No. 5 front sight with gold bead. 32-B elevator buck-horn rear sight, bore has sharp, shiny lands and grooves. Simply stated: a beautiful Winchester that is 100% correct with 97% original finish. Fore-end tip has no blue (typical), but the crescent butt plate has much original finish. Wood is "proud" where it meets the metal. Blue is lighter on the link and bottom of receiver. TD join is tight. Try finding another one as good as this for this bargain price.
