Here are 15 shot factory Magnum Research Magazines to fit the service size 99 MR Eagle Fast Action series pistols. They also fit Smith & Wesson’s SW99 series and the Walther 99 series pistols chambered in 9mm caliber. Manufacturer is Mec-Gar s.r.l. of Brescia, Italy, manufacturer of the factory issue magazines first for Walther, then for Smith & Wesson, and now also for Magnum Research. Importer and warrantor is Magnum Research of Pillager, MN. Construction is serrated side blue steel, with smooth milled welded back; and with steel spring and black polymer floorplate and cartridge follower. Each magazine holds 15 rounds of 9mm Ammunition: 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, call it what you will, THE 9mm. They fit perfectly in Smith & Wesson 99, 99QA, and 990 models chambered in 9mm; work perfectly in Walther pistols of the same models; and in the Magnum Research Fast Action pistols. This is the exact same magazine as Walther’s number 2796465. It’s a round shy of Smith & Wesson’s Old number 26494. They will work in, but protrude from the grip frame, on Compact variants of those pistols. These magazines Will Not Fit a Smith & Wesson MP9; Will Not Fit a Walther 88; Will Not fit a Model 59; will not fit the handle of an Ames Plumb 1981 ditch bank blade.
