Description: This is a kind of rare bird for S&W. It is the 2nd generation of the model 39 which was their attempt to replace the military's Colt .45 ACP Government as their primary sidearm. It is chambered for 9mm Luger and the magazines hold 8 rounds. It is all steel frame and slide.
