This is a GRADE 4 deluxe engraved shotgun with high quality wood stocks. SN# 260XXX (1915). This shotgun is an original condition barn find in very good overall condition. The gun needs some work but is a very scarce and early example! 32” vented rib barrel is very good with scattered surface wear; Spot of blue loss, wear 3” from muzzle. Bright shiny bore without wear. The receiver is very good with brilliant engravings; This is a GRADE 4 receiver. The receiver shows very little blue loss; Crisp markings. The single trigger function is currently not functioning and will need repair. Original shoulder stock is very good with exceptional markings; Light wear noted. No breaks. Brass inscription plate free from marks. The beavertail fore-end is good-very good with a few closed cracks approaching receiver; Light blue loss to metal components. “Blue Line” recoil pad. 14.5” LOP.
