Here is a real find from where they’ve been sitting for years in an Old East Coast Warehouse since the closure of the FIE Import Plant in 1991. These are original factory grips are for the Eig, Excam, and FIE Derringers manufactured from the late 1950s up until 1985. Models included are D38, D38C, and Excam TA38 derringers. Manufacturer is Tangfolio of Italy, for Eig Cutlery, later F.I.E. of Miami, and offshoot company Excam. Construction is checkered pattern polymer, inletted on the right panel for hex head screw nut, and inletted on the left panel for round head screws, as the photos show. Screws are not included, but with a little shopping at your friendly local hardware store, even than problem can be easily solved. These grips will only fit the models named above, copies of the Remington Model 95 Derringer, a medium frame over and under like the FIE specimen showing in some of our photos. They will not fit an actual Remington, will not fit a Davis Industries Derringer, will not fit a High Standard Derringer, will not fit a Bond Arms Derringer, will not fit the side mirror of a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.
