The Savage Arms Axis II XP is a lightweight centerfire bolt action hunting rifle. It features a factory-installed and bore-sighted 3-9x40mm scope. It additionally sports an adjustable AccuTrigger button-rifled carbon steel 22 barrel thread-in barrel headspacing ergonomic synthetic stock detachable box magazine and matte black finish. A variety of chamberings are available including 223 Rem 30-06 Spring and 308 Win (7.62x51).
