Here is the most desireable of all Sig P238 pistols, the All Stainless version with Night sights. Manufacturer and warrantor is Sig Sauer of Exeter, NH, with all US made parts. Type is J.M. Browning Design, hammer fired, blowback single action semiautomatic pistol. Construction is steel barrel, slide, frame, sights, levers, hammer, internal parts, and magazine assembly, with wood laminate grips; and with polymer trigger, and grip frame back strap / mainspring housing. Barrel is 2.7 inch, with 6 groove right hand 1:16 rifling. Slide has serrated rear laterals, with full length stainless guide rod. Sights are dovetailed front and rear, black steel Siglite Night Sights, factory issue MH3 Meprolights. Trigger is serrated face .208 black polymer. Photo specimen pulled two stage at 7 pounds, with moderate felt creep and overtravel. Hammer is skeleton serrated .263 width. Safety is left side mounted lever for right handed shooters. Magazine is stainless 6 rounder, so 6 + 1 fully loaded capacity. The P238 and Colt Mustang use interchangeable magazines, readily available from us or from many dealers across the country. Grips are gray and black laminate. Overall length is 5 1/2 inches; height is 4 inches; and slide thickness is .838 inch at the port. Weight empty is 19 1/4 ounces, centered at the front of the grip frame. Each P238 comes in its factory box with protective wrapper, hang tag, Lucas gun oil and flyer, Sig ammunition flyer, Sig Decal, chamber protector, factory polymer paddle holster, black cable lock, and instruction manual whose centerpiece is factory registration card.
